Chemical structure change: Under the irradiation of LED UV light, the photoinitiator in UV ink will trigger the polymerization reaction of resin and other components in the ink to form a tightly cross-linked polymer structure. This structure has good compactness and can effectively block the penetration of water molecules, thus endowing printed matter with waterproof characteristics.

Surface tension characteristics: The surface tension of the ink after LED UV curing is low. Water droplets are not easy to spread and penetrate on its surface but will form water droplets and roll off. This makes it difficult for moisture to adhere and penetrate into the label interior when the wine label comes into contact with moisture, thereby playing a waterproof role.

Good adhesion: During the LED UV curing process of UV ink, it can form strong chemical bonding or physical adsorption with the label material surface, making the ink layer closely adhere to the label. Even if the label comes into contact with water, the ink layer is not easy to fall off or be penetrated by water, thus ensuring the waterproof performance of the label and the integrity of the printed pattern.
