Equipment Installation and Inspection
Install the LED UV curing lamp at a suitable position on the screen printing machine, usually above the conveyor track after printing. Ensure that the glass handicrafts can pass smoothly under the lamp. Check whether all components of the LED UV curing lamp are firmly connected, whether the circuits are in good condition, and whether the cooling system is operating normally.
Parameter Setting
Set the wavelength of the LED UV curing lamp according to the characteristics of the UV ink and the printing requirements of the glass handicrafts. Generally, for UV inks used in glass handicraft printing, the commonly used LED UV wavelengths are 365nm or 395nm. Meanwhile, adjust the power and irradiation time of the LED UV curing lamp based on the drying speed of the ink and the production speed of the products. Usually, the power can be adjusted between 30% – 100%, and the irradiation time ranges from a few seconds to several tens of seconds depending on the actual situation. After confirming that the parameter settings are appropriate and the trial printing effect is satisfactory, place the glass handicrafts on the conveyor belt of the screen printing machine and start the normal printing and curing process.
Equipment Maintenance
After production is completed, turn off the power of the LED UV curing lamp. After the equipment has cooled down, clean and maintain the LED UV curing lamp. Use a clean soft cloth to wipe the dust and stains on the lamp surface. Check if there is any dust accumulation on the cooling fan and heat sink. If necessary, use compressed air for cleaning to ensure the normal operation and service life of the equipment.
